Professional representation of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, both on and off campus, is an important aspect of the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program. MSAT students wear uniforms to represent their program and the university when they participate in required clinical experiences such as practices, injury treatments, competitions, professional conferences, and more.
These students have not been issued updated uniforms in many years, instead wearing hand-me-down apparel passed down from one cohort to the next. In addition to uniforms with outdated UTC and sponsor logos, there are no cold-weather items available for students in clinical rotations. Recently, UTC competed against UT in football with over 100,000 fans in attendance at Neyland stadium—we need our MSAT students to proudly rep the C wherever they go!
Along with updated uniforms, the MSAT program wants to promote more effective hands-on learning through the repair of many broken and currently unusable anatomical models, and acquire new equipment in the Athletic Training learning and research lab.
Your gift today will provide new and updated uniforms and equipment, improving our student's professional representation and enriching their learning experiences within the Master of Science in Athletic Training program.
